Coming on the heels of the Tai Lam Tournament, we will have an Open Play in Silver Plaza this Sunday, 6/12, from 12-2 PM. We also will have our weekly game night tonight in front of the Silver Spring Civic Building, from 7-9 PM. Please join us at these events for a few hours of chess, refreshments, and fun!
Finally, I want to put in a note that I will be moving on from All the Right Moves to begin graduate school later this month. It's been a pleasure teaching and learning so much about chess over the course of this year. Wayne Spon, an experienced chess player and coach, will be in charge going forward. He will be at both the Wednesday and the Sunday event. I'm delighted to leave Montgomery County youth chess in such capable hands.
